Care and maintenance

No changes to the construction or components of the product are permitted. If such changes are made, the warranty becomes invalid and you may put yourself or others at risk. You also assume full product liability when modifying the product.

To prolong the lifespan of your furniture, it is important to clean it regularly and remove stains such as hand sanitiser, gel or hand creams as soon as possible. The required cleaning frequency depends on the environment, how often the furniture is used and the types of materials it consists of.

To minimise the risk of contamination and the spread of bacteria and viruses, good hygiene and regular cleaning are essential. Dust and dirt reduce the effectiveness of disinfectants. Some disinfectants may also fix dirt to the surface, trapping microorganisms underneath. Always clean the surface before disinfecting. If contamination is suspected, it is often better to place the furniture in quarantine for at least 48 hours rather than disinfecting it.

Furniture should always be lifted and must not be pushed unless it is specifically designed for it. Otherwise, it may be exposed to lateral forces it is not constructed to withstand, potentially causing damage to both the furniture and the floor. When moving furniture, it must not be loaded – this applies even to furniture designed to be moved, such as items with castors.
