Retire with the flag high after 50 years at Kinnarps
It was the start of a long and rewarding working life at Kinnarps. He has been living in Kinnarp for many years, but he remembers a day when he skied to work from his former home in Göteve. "I had a lamp around my stomach and it took me 2.5 hours to get there," he says. For most of his time at Kinnarps, Bror has been a supervisor and driven a truck at the machine shop. "That's what I enjoy most, driving things," he says. He reflects on how the company has developed over the years and how he has contributed his experience and knowledge. Every morning when he walks to work, he goes through the working day and plans how he will solve his work tasks in the best and most efficient way. "It's the case that if people want to constantly develop at their job, they become very good at what they do," says Bror enthusiastically.
“It is fantastic that we have such loyal staff who thrive and work with us for a long time. It is precisely that curiosity and drive of our employees that is a success factor that we today are Europe's leading supplier of interior design solutions”, says Ann Cederwall, Global Marketing Director at Kinnarps.
When Bror now retires, it is with a wonderful attitude that life offers a new exciting chapter. "There are a lot of things I would like to try!", Bror concludes.
